Detailed breakdown of my pass experience

I opted for the 4-Day Istanbul Pass and found the digital delivery instant and hassle-free. Activating it was simple through the app. For attractions like the Maiden Tower Entry and Galata Tower Access, the QR codes worked perfectly. The included Istanbul Airport Transfer was a major plus, saving me from navigating public transport right after a long flight. Booking the Guided Hagia Sophia Tour required pre-selection via their portal, which was clear enough. I found the WhatsApp Traveler Support responsive when I had a question about the Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour schedule. The quality of the included tours and entries was generally high, and the skip-the-line feature was invaluable, especially at busy spots. Definitely helped me make the most of my trip without any stress.

Convenient, but some hiccups

I purchased the 3-Day Istanbul Pass and overall, it was really convenient for seeing a lot of sights like the Basilica Cistern and taking the Bosphorus Dinner Cruise. The digital guidebook was helpful too. My only minor issue was with booking one of the guided tours; the WhatsApp support took a little longer than I expected to confirm, maybe 3-4 hours. Still, saved money compared to buying individual tickets.

Always a good experience

This was my third time using the Istanbul Tourist Pass, and once again, it made my trip so much smoother. I got the 5-Day Istanbul Pass. The skip-the-line at Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace was just as reliable as my previous visits. It's why I keep coming back, honestly. No surprises, just consistent service.

Loved my trip!

I had such a fantastic time in Istanbul thanks to the 7-Day Istanbul Pass! Skipping lines at places like Dolmabahce Palace was a lifesaver. The Whirling Dervishes Show was incredible. I'm telling everyone about it, especially for value and all the cool things you get to do.

Easy way to see Istanbul

Got the 2-Day Istanbul Pass for my quick trip. It was super easy to use my phone for entries everywhere. We did the Blue Mosque Guided Tour and a Princes Islands Boat Trip, and it all worked without a hitch. I didn't have to worry about buying tickets at each place, which was really nice. Made our short visit feel longer.

My trip got pushed back, can I change the dates on a pass I already bought?

M Marcus Vargas 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I had to do that once. Just contact their customer support, they're pretty good about it as long as it's not too last minute. I think there might be a cutoff though.

S Steve Carter 3 weeks ago
I'm pretty sure you can. Just make sure you haven't activated it yet. They're usually flexible before you start using it.

Can you use more than one coupon code at checkout? Like if I have a newsletter discount and a group discount?

P Phil 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure it's one coupon per order. Most sites are like that. Tried it once with something else, didn't work.

A Amber L. 1 month ago
I don't think so. They usually say you can't combine offers. You'll probably have to pick the better discount.

Is the skip-the-line feature actually good? Or is it like, a slightly shorter line?

S Shane C. 4 weeks ago
For Hagia Sophia and Topkapi it was a lifesaver. Seriously saved us like an hour, maybe more, in direct sun. Totally worth it just for that.

It's legit. Not every place has a separate entrance, but for the main big ones like Blue Mosque or Dolmabahce, you definitely bypass the general queue. It's not always empty, but way faster than the normal line.

Anyone know if the Istanbul Tourist Pass is better than the Istanbul E-Pass? I'm trying to decide between the two for my upcoming trip.

P Priya N. 1 month ago
I used the E-Pass last year and it was fine, but a friend used the Tourist Pass and said it had more options for guided tours. Depends on what attractions you're prioritizing I guess.

I found the Tourist Pass had more attractions included, especially the smaller museums and some cool experiences like the Whirling Dervishes. The E-Pass felt a bit more limited for what I wanted to do.

Hey, thinking of getting the 5-day pass for my trip in October. Does it include a public transport card or do I need to buy that separately?

A Alex 2 weeks ago
Nah, it doesn't. You gotta get the Istanbulkart on your own for public transport. I had to buy mine at a metro station.

L Lisa 2 weeks ago
I think some of the longer passes used to, or maybe it was an add-on. For the 5-day though, pretty sure it's separate. Check their site, it should say for sure.

Are there student discounts available for the pass? I'm traveling with my college ID.

D Dana 1 month ago
I haven't seen specific student discounts mentioned for the pass itself. Sometimes individual attractions within the pass might have student rates if you bought tickets separately, but not for the pass as a whole afaik.

M Mike Brooks 1 month ago
I tried looking for one last year, didn't find any student specific coupon codes for the pass, just general promos. Might be worth checking their site directly or signing up for their newsletter in case something pops up.

What's the deal with the digital guidebook? Is it just a basic PDF or something actually useful?

A Anna 3 weeks ago
It's actually pretty good! Has maps, info on each attraction, opening times, and even some tips. Not just a basic brochure.
5
C Colin 3 weeks ago
More than a PDF, it's pretty interactive. I found it useful for planning out my days and seeing what was near each other. Handy to have on your phone.

Hey, do these passes ever go on sale during Black Friday? Thinking of planning a trip for early next year.

N Noor H. 2 weeks ago
Oh yeah, they totally do. I grabbed mine on Black Friday last year for like 20% off. Keep an eye out around November.

I Ivy D. 1 week ago
Definitely. Black Friday and New Year's are usually good times to snag a deal. They often have bigger discounts then compared to just a random promo code.
